When you enter you will also be asked your manuscript’s genre. This is a chance to tell us which specific category your manuscript falls under, or what your sub-genre is. The more information we have, the better we’ll be able to pair you up with a 2017 Mentee who is experienced critiquing that type of genre!

Example #1: Your manuscript is a Young Adult Historical Fantasy. You would enter the ‘Young Adult Science Fiction & Fantasy,’ rafflecopter, and then when prompted fill in that your manuscript is ‘Historical fantasy.’

Example #2: Your manuscript is a Historical Romance. You would enter the “Adult Other” rafflecopter, and then when prompted fill in that your manuscript is ‘Historical Romance.’

You will also be asked your Twitter handle so that we can easily notify you if you win. If you’re not on Twitter, don’t worry! We can contact you via email, but please enter ‘none’ in that field, so that you will get two ‘entries’ just like everyone else.

This is what the rafflecopter screen should look like if you have entered correctly! Note in the menu in top right hand corner, it will say two entries (see screenshot below). The entry fields themselves (What is your manuscript’s genre; What is your twitter handle) will be in gray. You won’t be able to click on them.

If you accidentally enter the wrong rafflecopter, please let us know as soon as possible, and I will delete your extra entry!
